Our clients Test Match Sofa have been using Videojuicer’s platform to live stream their audio commentary of cricket matches for around three years now.

Rather than actually going to matches, the TMS team (not to be confused with the TMS of the BBC’s Test Match Special) broadcast their irreverent observations from a sofa in South London, from which they watch the games on Sky.

Dudamel and the Símon Bolívar Symphony Orchestra at Southbank Centre, part two

Conductor Gustavo Dudamel with the Símon Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela signed off their residency at Southbank Centre on Tuesday night with two celebrations of nature on a huge orchestral canvas: Esteban Benzecry's Rituales Amerindios, and Richard Strauss's An Alpine Symphony. You can watch it here.

Videojuicer was there again to produce the Shell Classic International concert and stream it to the internet - including the surprise encore, which featured Welsh bass-baritone Bryn Terfel delivering an epic Abendlich Strahlt from Wagner's Das Rheingold. We snapped him backstage dressed in horned hat, cloak and eyepatch and carrying a spear:

Northern Sinfonia play Beethoven’s Sixth

Owing to an unforeseen personal commitment in Caracas, conductor Christian Vasquez was forced at short notice to withdraw from his upcoming debut with Northern Sinfonia at the Sage Gateshead, the latest concert to be live streamed by Videojuicer.

Fortunately the estimable Grant Llewellyn was able to step in at short notice, and the final Classic FM Series concert was able to go ahead. The first half of the programme featured Prokofiev's Classical Symphony and Shostakovich's first Piano Concerto and this was followed by a performance of Beethoven's "Pastoral" symphony. With exceptional pianist Jean-Frederic Neuburger and Northern Sinfonia's own Richard Martin on trumpet, it proved to a be a fantastic night of music.

Working with Aurora Orchestra and Kings College Choir - Live Show

Today we are filming the Aurora Orchestra performing Mozart's Requiem with Kings College Choir at Kings Place in London. This will be appearing live on The Guardian website. Which is especially good as it's sold out for both of it's performances this evening (www.kingsplace.co.uk/whats-on-book-tickets/music/mozarts-requiem-2)

It's really pleasing to use our technology with such prestigious groups. We have been able to wrap this live performance with pre-recorded advertisements as well. We like integrating live and pre-recorded - it gives great results for businesses involved.

Aurora Orchestra – Seeing is Believing

In June 2011, Aurora Orchestra release their disc “Seeing is Believing” on Decca Classics, and launched it with a performance at Kings Place on May 7th. The concert featured 3 pieces from the CD by Nico Muhly, as well as some more established 20th century works by Charles Ives, Paul Hindemith, and John Adams.

The newly relaunched Decca Classics was keen to publicise the CD through all channels, and Kings Place wanted to show off their hall and technology. The concert was streamed live on the Guardian, Aurora and Facebook, using the Videojuicer platform. Using expertise drawn on from Plushmusic, we also directed the Kings Place camera operators to provide compelling footage, as well as negotiated with the BBC over sharing microphones for their own Radio 3 recording.
